Fans of the Star Wars film series, but also of all the new series that take place in the same universe (The Mandalorian, The Book of Bob Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi), will have the opportunity to enjoy another adventure series called Andor this year.
Its main protagonist is Cassian Andor, a spy for the Rebel Alliance, who we first met in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). The first season of this series takes place five years before the events of this film and will cover a period of one year. The adventures of the main character and other rebels against the Galactic Empire during the other four years will be shown in the second season of the Andor series. There will be twelve episodes in both seasons.
The series combines several genres, especially science fiction, spy thriller and action adventure. Its main creator is Tony Gilroy, a famous Hollywood screenwriter and director. Cassiana Andorra is played by Diego Luna, and the other characters are Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Archona Torres, Fiona Shaw, Forest Whitaker, Kyle Soler and Genevieve O'Reilly.
The Andor series will premiere on August 31 on the streaming service Disney +. Its first trailer hints at a great party.
