The bright and dark sides of the Slovenian archaeological parks caught in the photographic lens will inspire you and lead you to the archaeological ruins in the embrace of nature, while at the same time inviting you to reflect on the often questionable (non)attitude towards our rich cultural heritage. All this without (auto)censorship and embellishment.
We are honored that Severa Gjurin accepted the role of ambassador of the traveling photography exhibition without hesitation. Kakopak will also join us at the opening, where in a relaxed atmosphere we will send the exhibition on a long one-year journey through Slovenia.
Above the main, photographic part of the exhibition, June clouds will fly and (we hope as many times as possible) stars will shine, and in the entrance hall of our museum, a video collage and a corner for the youngest will add an additional dimension to the exhibition. While viewing the exhibition, the Time Sketches from Severa Gjurin and Borut Činča's album waving in the air will take care of your favorable state of mind. At the opening, you and Severa Gjurin will be able to write a word or two about the moments, both those captured on the exhibition boards and all the others, on a June night.
The exhibition will be on view at its initial stop in front of the National Museum of Slovenia until June 30, and the exact itinerary of its further journey will soon be published on the website of the Ad Pirum Archaeological Park (www.adpirum.com). More on the Ad Pirum Facebook page.
