The Audi RS5 Coupe and Audi RS5 Sportback will be available in 2023 with an additional Competition Package, which will make the new RS5 models louder, lower and faster.
Audi RS5 (2023) will continue to use 2.9 liter petrol V6 engine that has 331 kW (450 HP) of power and 600 newton meters of torque. The Competition package increases the final speed to 289 km/h, which was previously limited to 250 km/h. With the Competition package, customers will also get a new RS sports exhaust system, which will give the car an even more penetrating sound. By removing approx 8 kilograms insulating material, they also ensured that the sound of cars will spread even more intensively through the passenger cabin. The new RS5, with the aforementioned package, will have an upgraded rear differential and refined steering.
The automatic transmission in the new RS5 will be med 8 gears moved faster. Competition package for 10 mm lowers the chassis, even for additional 10 mm but it can be lowered thanks to the adaptive suspension. The exterior of the Audi RS5 Competition will be quickly noticed, as Audi has added some elements in high-gloss black and some elements made of carbon fiber, such as the front and rear air deflectors and side mirror housings. Under the hood hides the protective engine cover, which is also made of carbon fiber. The interior brings the same sporty dynamism with the use of Napa leather and distinctly sporty seats. Alcantara and contrasting red stitching further emphasize the sportiness. The Competition and Competition Plus packages will also be available for the model Audi RS4 Avant.
