Are you afraid that you will buy a fake every time you intend to buy products from prestigious brands? Thanks to the latest Aura platform, you will FINALLY be able to forget the fear, because this platform separates fakes from the original!
French conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has developed a platform that by using blockchain technology/blockchain tracks down luxury goods and prevents counterfeits from entering the market.
A platform called Aura, offers consumers and brands advanced tracking services – introduces users to various information about the life cycle of the product, relating to design, raw materials, manufacturing and distribution.
LVMH will use the system to help identify original products. Namely, Aura will record sales data at points of sale and on the market of already used goods. In this way, it will make the work of resellers much more difficult, because counterfeit items will not be recognized by the system.
In creating the platform, LVMH collaborated with Microsoft and companies Consensys, which deals with solutions in blockchain technology. At first, they plan to use it primarily for brands Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, and in the future we can expect it to be available for some other brands owned by the conglomerate.
