It was April 1999. At that time, it started in Postojna's Avio pub with a free drink fest, which marked the beginning of the operation of today's one of the best pizzerias in Postojna. Robi and Ana, who today run the bar together with Valter, have previously worked with the idea of a bar next to the airport, and this year it has been ten years since hungry vacationers on their way from Dalmatia or Kvarner stopped for doughy delicacies in a pleasant pizzeria, where they take care of all hungry and thirsty with an abundant offer of fresh and light pizzas and snacks. In addition to the generous offer of fresh salads, we can also treat ourselves to one of the open or bottled wines of Slovenian winegrowers. It will be especially pleasant for us in the summer months, when we can cool off and have refreshments on the terrace in the pleasant shade of the trees. Local diners don't go to Avio pub just to fill their stomachs, because they know very well that there will always be new cocktails on offer. Every Friday is marked by a new cocktail of the weekend, and Saturday evenings with music and entertainment accompanied by a DJ. Since we are next to the Postojna airport, we might be able to take a flight with a sports plane before the feast, which will further encourage us to run or thirst, depending on the endurance of our stomachs.
