Have you ever dreamed of spending the night on the water? Not on a boat or raft, but literally on the water, on your SUP? The German company BAJAO has made this dream come true with the development of its new product called Cabin. This portable tent - BAJAO Cabin - allows you to spend the night in places where camping may not be allowed or the terrain is unsuitable for a traditional tent.
BAJAO Cabin is a tent, which fits any SUP longer than 3.5 meters (11'6″). The tent is almost 3 meters long and has air tubes that attach to your board. The unit also includes side tubes to stabilize your board for overnight stays on the water (although the company advises avoiding currents and bodies that have waves). The tubes are inflated with the help of a pump SUP or Kite in less than 2 minutes, creating a fully livable tent.
If you don't want to be on the water, the tent allows you to that your SUP use on top of your car or even on top of rocks (if you want), with your board underneath you as a kind of cushion. The tent is extremely small for travel and is made of light polyester mesh with a slatted cover made of 40D ripstop of double silicone-coated polyamide. The waterproof floor of the tent is made of 150D Oxford polyester fabrics.
BAJAO are currently fundraising for their Cabin on the Indiegogo platform, where early birds could get a tent at a price starting at $412.
Z BAJAO Cabin you can extend your SUP experience to a multi-day adventure. Whether you're on the water, on top of a car, or even on rocky terrain, the BAJAO Cabin offers a comfortable and practical overnight solution. As the saying goes, "home is where you pitch your tent", with BAJAO Cabin but you can place your home almost anywhere.
