Swan Lake is without a doubt that ballet masterpiece that captivates audiences again and again. The story of Princess Odette, who turns into a beautiful swan as a result of a spell, along with the fairy-tale music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the choreography of Viktor Latvinov, will enchant with costumes and original scenography at SNG Maribor.
On March 6, the premiere of probably the most famous "white ballet" of all time will take place on the stage of SNG Maribor: Swan Lake. The story of Princess Odette, who is bewitched by the magician Rothbart into a beautiful swan, which has been performed countless times, is probably most touched by the romantic music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and the author of the choreography to it is Viktor Latvinov.
The rejuvenated ballet ensemble is preparing a magical performance for us with the most technically accomplished ballet soloists, which will also take us into a fairy tale with magical costumes and dreamy scenography.
