The Dutch company Riva-World, which is the restorer of Riva luxury boats, undertook an extraordinary project to restore the 45-year-old Riva Aquarama, which was owned by Mr. Lamborghini himself.
Of course, the boat of the gentleman Lamborghini it wouldn't be his boat if it wasn't the fastest boat of its type. Riva company it was of great interest to buy the boat back from the collector who bought it after Mr. Lamborghini's death in 1993 and restore it to its original condition.
The restoration of such a boat was an extremely thorough task, as the boat was coated with 25 coats of varnish and, of course, restored the basic wooden framework, as well as all the elements of this beautiful Riva. As an interesting point, I should mention that the "boat" is driven by two engines with exceptional characteristics. Both with V12 and 4.0 liters of volume, which are basically derived from the Lamborghini 350 GT.
Each engine produces 350 horsepower and so together they drive this boat to final speed 48 knots. Compared to the standard Riva Aquarama, which reaches 40 knots, definitely outstanding.
Let's take a look at the gallery of this extraordinary boat >
