Of course, this is not an easy question, because nine months represent quite a large part of the year, so many weather and temperature extremes cannot be avoided. However, the most common advice given by mums was to avoid December holidays and early pregnancy if possible. According to many mothers and pregnant women, there is nothing worse than a period of nausea and a table full of festive goodies in front of you.

Summer or winter?

Winter brings season colds and viral diseases, for which pregnant women are especially vulnerable. The immune system drops a bit during pregnancy, so the possibility of infections is more likely. On the other hand, they are temperatures more pleasant in winter like in summer, while pregnant women are already hotter than others anyway due to hormonal changes. In this case, it is recommended to wear light clothing and stay in the shade, as well as drinking a sufficient amount of liquid. On hot summer days, it pays to get up early enough and go for a morning walk before the heat descends, and the temperatures are also pleasant in the late afternoon.

Dreary winter weather and shorter days can also affect the phenomenon seasonal mood disorders. The latter will additionally affect hormonal changes and well-being. But with some fresh air you can alleviate this too, just dress warmly enough. Choose your partner's jacket, which is slightly larger and will allow you to protect your tummy as well. Winter jackets for pregnant women are also available, which can later be used when wearing a baby carrier.

In the winter and autumn months, there is a high probability that you will not meet your needs Vitamin D. That is why it is recommended to get food supplements with vitamin D. In the summer, this will not be a problem, so don't forget a sufficient amount of liquid and appropriate sun protection. Movement can also be difficult in the winter months, while in the summer you can go for a walk, and in the winter, if you don't like walking much, you can choose between different exercises for pregnant women or swim in the pool.

Morning sickness during the holidays?

Finally, there is a problem raised by moms on Reddit. Morning sickness in the first trimester, it is not limited to mornings and can cause quite a few problems. That's why it's good to get enough fresh fruit and vegetables and stick to it five meals a day. If it's almost time for breakfast, make sure it's nutritious. It will fill you with energy for a good part of the day. Let future fathers help you with this, who can prove themselves and spoil you with delicious breakfasts. During the festive season, a covered table can increase the already present weakness, so it is good to tell your loved ones the good news beforehand and make sure that everyone pampers you as much as possible.
