BMW has released official photos online of the BMW M4 Cabrio, powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 capable of 431 hp, ahead of its New York premiere. You need to have just under 75,000 euros in your account for this roofless rocket.
As we expected, the Bavarians are just before the world premiere of the model BMW M4 in convertible version, which will take place on April 16 at the salon in New York, published the bundle online official photos of this model and also its initial price.
This is how it comes to the market BMW M4 convertible with two fewer cylinders than its predecessor, but still surpasses it in terms of power, weight and, last but not least, economy. Despite the significantly smaller engine BMW M4 namely, it develops more power, which, along with lower weight, also means better performance and lower consumption.
Like a sister's M4 coupe it is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbo six-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 317 kW or 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.
It will be serial at BMW M4 convertible equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, but at the buyer's request, it will be replaced by a seven-speed automatic gearbox M DKG with a double clutch. In the case of the first, the acceleration to the first hundred will take 4.3 seconds, but in the case of the automatic, it will be two tenths shorter. Top speed is expected to be limited to 250 kilometers per hour, with an optional M drive packages, but they will withdraw it from you so that you can reach speeds of up to 280 kilometers per hour. The average consumption, depending on the gearbox, should range from 8.3 to 8.8 liters.

Photo: BMWIn the package BMW M4 convertible there are also a more dynamic aero body kit, 18-inch M wheels (optionally one inch larger), a more powerful chassis and brake system (with brake calipers in blue), and for an additional fee, brake pads can also be made of carbon fiber (calipers in this case they become golden), and part of the equipment will also be an exhaust system with four brake pipes and a sportier interior with many inscriptions of the version.
The first prices are already known, where they should be in Great Britain BMW M4 convertible cost five thousand euros more than the recently launched M4 coupe, which means that the English will be able to come up with it after the premiere for at least 73,460 euros.
