For more than 90 years, the 2-cylinder boxer engine has been the focus of BMW motorcycles. Because of this special shape, the motorcycle is instantly recognizable, but many people wonder what will happen in the future, as we are witnessing an ever-increasing electrification.
BMW Motorrad Vision DC Roadster concept dispels doubts and shows us insight into future electrical motor wheels BMW. Traditional image 2 cylinder boxer will take over battery, which will be installed perpendicular depending on the motorcycle. She will also have cooling ribs with fans, which is another tribute to the legendary engine BMW R32, which has been for years 1923 designed Max Friz. The cooling elements will be exposed air, just as they have been exposed until now. It will be installed under the battery electric motor, which will be connected to the shaft.
BMW this way preserves the tradition, but at the same time it is aware of the future and perfectly adapts to it, both from the point of view of design and from the point of view of technology.
