Just as the human body has its own charm, so does UV light, and John Poppleton has combined the two in the Bodyscapes art project. Generally, bodyscapes are photographs of naked bodies that give the impression of a landscape, but he gave the term his own twist. He was drawn into artistic waters after sticking to wedding and portrait photography for over 20 years, but it was a combination of boredom, fascination with UV light and the beauty of the human body and the opportunity to express himself through art that gave birth to the series images on bodies that come to life under UV light.
Because John Poppleton comes from the photo, he wanted his pictures on naked bodies they turn out to be quite realistic. He created these in a dark studio, where the pod UV light applied to the skin UV body paint. He says that it is, from the artist's perspective, an extremely surreal and even spiritual experience and after viewing his works from the series Bodyscapes, where he chose the body as his canvas, we believe you will nod to his opinion.
