Brina, the coquettish young lady who charmed thousands of visitors exactly three years ago with a colorful selection of drinks made from the best gins, is returning to the beautiful lobby of Ljubljana's Križanka. The second edition of the Ljubljana gin festival will invite lovers of noble drinks to the company of the best distillers, chefs and mixology specialists on Saturday, June 4, 2022, between 12:00 and 11:00 p.m.
Juniper, the Ljubljana gin festival, is a high-profile project by the creators of popular culinary gatherings such as Odprta kuhna and Pivo & Burger Fest, and this year Turizem Ljubljana is also joining the festival as a partner with the brand Gourmet Ljubljana. All day long, gin lovers and other drinkers will be able to play with combining and combining various aromas and flavors of the best domestic and foreign gins, which will be poured into festival glasses together with the sun's rays.
Festival Brina will offer an excellent platform for raising awareness of the exceptional natural heritage, the quality of Slovenian juniper and other botanical additives, and especially the creativity of the new generation of domestic distillers. At the same time, it will round off the capital's culinary and tourist offer with an attractive program, which attracts many local and foreign visitors with its variety. The central part of the festival will be devoted to the presentation of the products of more than 15 exhibitors, most of which will represent Slovenian gins, and sparkling cocktails inspired by this noble taste.
Good company with colorful cocktails will be provided with excellent dishes by renowned chefs, deserving actors of the local gastronomic boom, who enrich the wide range of products collected under the auspices of the Gourmet Ljubljana project with their creativity. Especially for Brina, the teams will design a range of delicacies inspired by the juniper, which go perfectly with gin drinks.
