Did you know that some Slovenian literary authors were unwanted or even banned? Maybe that's why we're all the more tempted to listen to their works that have raised so much dust. Banned literature will be read in the NUK cafe at the Reading of Banned Literature event.
As part of the exhibition Stop, censorship!, which is on view in the Plečnik corridor of NUK until November 26, 2016, will read the works of authors such as France Balantič, Tine Debeljak, Ivan Hribovšek, Drago Jančar, Edvard Kocbek, Vladimir Kos, Karel Mauser, Ada Škerl, Igor Torkar and Vitomil Zupan. Their controversial lines will be read by interpreters from the National and University Library, namely Manja Gatalo, Meta Kojc, Borut Osojnik, Boris Rifl, Marijan Rupert and Mojca Trtnik, as well as the author of the exhibition Helena Janežič.
