Car-free day during the European Mobility Week

European Mobility Week promotes walking, cycling and public transport and ends with a day when city centers are closed to motorized traffic.

It's happening this week European Mobility Week, whose central theme is Your step for cleaner air. This reminds that many things can be done with the help of the inhabitants of the city. Tens of millions of people across Europe are joining the Mobility Week, and in our country many places will participate in the initiative, closing part of their streets for car traffic. In addition, a series of interesting events and measures for sustainable mobility are taking place, which encourage walking, cycling and using public transport. It is the last day of Mobility Week, September 22 A day without a car, when residents and visitors of all participating municipalities go to the city on foot or by bicycle to run errands. On this day, the city centers are free of motorized traffic, the streets in the city centers are closed, and the cities come to life in a completely different, more relaxed atmosphere.
