CES 2019: IBM Q System One is the world's first commercial quantum computer

IBM Q System One

"Big blue" or IBM was not considered a company that will present something really interesting at CES 2019. But we counted, because they showed the first commercial IBM Q System One quantum computer in the world.

IBM Q System One it already looks like something, which came to our time through the time hole, but it is plot of long-term development. Quantum computers are the first theoretically mentioned in the 1980s. They are the basis of their operation ones (1) and zeros (0) the same as in ordinary ones computers, except that in this case they represent them electrons that jump between the normal (0) and excited (1) energy states. Each of these quantum bits, k-bits or qubits, qubit) can it exists in a kind of intermediate state, same time behaving like 1's and 0's. Because of this feature, you can qubits try all possibilities simultaneously and so theoretically they also solve extremely complex problems, as creating simulations of quantum states that exist in nature.

The IBM Q System One, presented at CES 2019, is not just for scientists, but also problem solving companies, which are too complex or exponential in nature, in order to be able to solved by classic computers for the foreseeable future. For example, finding new ways modulating financial data and isolating key global risk factors for better investments.

The computer is big 2.7 x 2.7 meters, and the case is sealed airtight with thick borosilicate glass.
