Chery iCar V23: an electric SUV with the spirit of a Defender

iCar V23, which is the second model under the iCar brand, is the result of a collaboration between Chery and technology giant Xiaomi through their subsidiary Zhimi Technology. This SUV not only catches the eye with a design reminiscent of classics such as the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, but also impresses with its technical sophistication.

Measuring 4,220 mm (166.1 in) long, 1,915 mm (75.4 in) wide and 1,845 mm (72.6 in) tall with a 2,730 mm (107.5 in) wheelbase, the iCar V23 stands out with its robust exterior design. The front part of the vehicle is decorated with round LED lights and grille that reflect the characteristics of the classic Land Cruiser FJ40, while the side profile and minimalist details are reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender.

The interior of the vehicle is modern, equipped with a large infotainment screen and next to the steering wheel, reminiscent of a Defender. Comfortable seats in white and black leather upholstery are complemented by rectangular climate vents, while a full range of sensors enables the advanced functions of the Level 2+ assistance systems.

iCar V23 will be available in rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) versions, with a range in excess of 500 km (311 miles) for the RWD and 400 km (249 miles) for the AWD version. Electric motors with CATL battery packs ensure not only excellent performance, but also an enviable range.
