On the penultimate day of the old year, around Lake Bled they will once again try to make a circle of friendship with their hands and greet the coming year 2017 with wishes. The event Circle of Friendship 2016 will take place for the 17th time in a row.
In 1999, they shook hands for the first time in Bled in the Circle of Friendship and tried to embrace the most visited and internationally famous Slovenian lake. Since then, the event has grown into an annual tradition, which is accompanied by numerous events, musical performances and light shows. It is especially charming when the participants, who circle Bled, turn on the blue lights and create an extraordinary scene. "This is a time to socialize with friends and acquaintances in the company of clubs and societies of the Municipality of Bled," say the organizers of the event.
Motto Friendship Circle 2016 is "To enjoy happiness, to feel peace, to share friendship."
This year, the route around Lake Bled will be divided into four zones. From 16:00 onwards you will be on I'm grinding entertained Happy Refugees, in The great Zaki Samuel Lucas with the band and in Mali Zaka, the Čuki group. Ob 17.30 with the help of animators, you will begin to arrange yourself on the path around the lake and along 18.00 embrace the lake. Fireworks from the lake will announce the start of turning on the blue lights that you will get in individual zones. After concluding the circle, the participants meet at the Festive Promenade, where you will have fun with the group Kingston.
