Citroën returns to the sedan segment for longer journeys with an innovative model that is a cross between a five-door sedan, station wagon and SUV. With its elegant and dynamic body design, the C5 X will create a new segment of cars that have a little bit of everything.
Citroën presented its new trump card, which, like the philosophy of the brand, convinces with its different image. Otherwise, the C5 X offers the option of choosing between six metallic or pearl body colors that highlight its silhouette: Black Perla Nera, Pearl White, Gray Acier, Gray Platinium, Gray Amazonite, Elegant Gray Green, which perfectly matches the interior combinations of Hype Adamantium and Bleu Magnétique, it is a penetrating and bright blue color reminiscent of the color shade of the concept vehicle 19_19 Concept. All body colors can be combined with the Perla Nera black roof, which further emphasizes the elegance of the vehicle. And optically lowers it.
Two wheel models are available for the C5 X: 19-inch Aero X alloy wheels and 19-inch AeroX Black Diamond alloy wheels. The 19-inch alloy wheels have aerodynamic inserts in gloss black that direct the airflow with a turbine effect to reduce aerodynamic drag and consequently CO2 emissions.
The C5 X faithfully follows the philosophy of the Citroën brand regarding the personalization of its image, which is why it is offered with original interior combinations that can be used to arrange the passenger compartment to your own taste. The elements of the interior combinations that can be customized are mainly the seats, the decorative strip and decoration of the dashboard, the center console and the door panels. Noble materials were used for all interior combinations, which complement each other harmoniously.
The C5 X is equipped with the latest technology, which can ensure a carefree and safe ride for both the driver and the other passengers. The Extended Head Up Display thus displays all useful information on a surface equivalent to a 21-inch screen in the driver's field of vision. The main displayed information includes speed, traffic signs for signaling (including speed limit signs), driver assistance system settings, navigation instructions, warning messages and the audio system. The all-new MyCitroën Drive Plus interface, which works in conjunction with a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen, with four USB Type-C sockets and an area for wireless smartphone charging. Its information is continuously updated via the cloud, and it has also acquired the Mirror Screen function, so that the user does not need to connect a smartphone. Driving assistance systems that introduce level 2 semi-automated driving, in particular lane keeping assistance (Highway Driver Assist), lane change assist (Lane Change Assist), monitoring of traffic behind the vehicle during reverse gear maneuvers (Rear Cross Traffic Alert), blind spot monitoring system or Vision 360° all around the vehicle.
In Slovenia, the C5 X will be available in three versions. The mid-range Feel Pack version offers comfort with the MyCitroën Drive Plus interface, Proximity hands-free access and start, front parking assistance, a reversing camera and 19-inch Aero X wheels for an even more stylish look. The Feel Pack version with a hybrid engine is also equipped with Citroën Advanced Comfort® active suspension. The high-end Shine variant gets all the latest technologies, such as Extended Head Up Display and Highway Driver Assist, as well as a more luxurious interior with Metropolitan interior combinations and a leather steering wheel. The most luxurious version of the Shine Pack offers the highest level of comfort, as it already includes a motorized tailgate with hands-free operation, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory settings and a 6-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, sound-insulated and multi-layered front and rear windows and a Hype interior combination Black in black Adamantium leather with perforated twin arrow pattern. There is a classic gasoline engine with 130 or 180 horsepower, and a hybrid with a 12.4 kWh battery for about 50 km of autonomy.
