Coloring Easter cakes with rice! Simple, fast and wonderful.

Even those who do not celebrate Easter love some old and picturesque customs, of which the coloring of Easter cakes undoubtedly belongs. Everyone has their own taste, what kind of pirhi or Easter eggs, as they are also called, they like best. This time we present you a simple technique of coloring with rice that conjures up a real fairy tale.

Making it is completely simple, the whole process is fun, so even the youngest will enjoy it. All you need is food colouring, rice and egg whites, as they show the color better. You can buy egg whites at the grocery store, or you can also whiten plain eggs with alcohol vinegar.

Manufacturing process

First part of the process is egg whitening. For this part, you need alcohol vinegar, which is a natural bleach, and water.

  1.  It is important that the vinegar and water are in the same ratio. Of course, it also depends on how many eggs you whiten, as the amount of water and vinegar depends on it. If you add half a liter of water to the pot, you also add half a liter of vinegar.
  2. Then boil the eggs in the prepared solution for ten minutes. Over time, you will notice that the shell becomes lighter on the surface of the solution, and a brownish foam appears. Remove this with a spoon so it doesn't spill over the edge.
  3. After cooking, rinse the eggs under cold water. Be careful because the shell is thinner after bleaching. Let them cool at room temperature.

Second part. After bleaching, the eggs are dyed, for which you need the following ingredients:
Rice, thick food coloring and a plastic household bag.

  1. Pour the rice into a bag and drop some food coloring into it. The amount of color can be added during the process itself, depending on how intense a color you want.
  2. Place the egg in the bag and gently shake it to catch the color on all sides. You can also combine different food colors, as this makes the eggs even more beautiful and colorful.

Coloring is simple and the Easter feathers shine fabulously on your face Easter tables.
