If you remember the fairy tale about Janko and Metka, then you probably know how naively the brother and sister entered the delicious (made of candy) house of the evil witch, unaware of all the dangers lurking inside. A similar situation is faced by us, real persons who have entered the world of social networks without realizing what everything we post online reveals about us.
When they are us older generations warned us not to trust the rapidly developing web, years ago we still thought this was absurd. But we have reached the point where technology companies control what we do not only online, but also off cyberspace.
They are coming to the plan scary data about, how much information companies have about us, a new report The Wall Street Journal but notes what data Facebook gets from you every time you upload a selfie.
These things selfish, which you record with your phone, tell Facebook:
1. Yours photo
2. Where and when you are selfish recorded
3. Model yours phone
4. ID phone
5. Information about mobile operator, which you use.
6. Battery level phone
7. What are they nearby blocks, which have Wi-Fi, and shops with mobile phones (works relative to your location).
8. System face recognition however, it analyzes each face in the video separately.
What is particularly frightening is that Facebook can on the basis of analysis of each face especially it also records the locations of persons, which are not even marked in the photo. We have reached a point where it is impossible to avoid recording data - but it is also obvious that by entering the world of social networks we have made ourselves a disservice.
