The path of the American occupation The Foo Fighters shortly after the singer's death Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, started as a personal project of Nirvana's drummer Dava Grohl. As the sole member, Grohl released his self-titled debut album in 1995 The Foo Fighters, and then he invited a bass player to participate Nat Mendel, the drummer by William Goldsmith and a guitarist Pat Smear. The first concerts were followed by the creation of the second album The Color and the Shape, when the drummer left the band, so Dave himself took over the drums.

Twenty years of traveling and musical involvement bore fruit; they joined the band Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shiftlett, who together with Smear, Mendel and Grohl make up today's lineup of Foo Fighters, followed by hits infused with singing rock Learn to Fly, All My Life, Times Like These, Best of You and others and eight albums, four of which won Grammy Awards. The last one Sonic Highways will undoubtedly be the one to fill Italy's Unipol Arena in Bologna on November 13 and the Palaolimpico in Turin a day later on November 14, in addition to the above-mentioned sights.
