Dacia MANIFESTO: electric laboratory of the future

This is the future of Dacia

The Romanian car brand has been producing commercial vehicles since the mid-60s. That's also why the Manifesto doesn't surprise us, because the brand that Renault bought in 1999 has recently started to progress in both style and substance. And present more and more interesting products.

Dacia has unveiled the MANIFESTO concept vehicle, which may be its biggest step forward in terms of innovation so far. They call it a laboratory. MANIFESTO, which is an electric SUV, is equipped with some interesting innovations that could greatly change the company's role in the automotive industry. The first thing you'll notice about the vehicle, aside from its geometric shape, is the lack of doors, windows and windshields. The latter should enable the driver and passengers to enter the natural environment. Also special and innovative are the airless tires, which are puncture-resistant for off-road reliability and a long service life.

Highlights on the interior itself include a dashboard with a built-in display that integrates with your personal smart device. Thanks to the modular YouClip function, there is also plenty of space for accessories. The entire interior of the car can be cleaned "with a water jet", which reinforces its purpose for the field. Removable dry seat covers are also useful for this, they can be turned into sleeping bags. As a step towards sustainability, Dacia has made a large part of the interior from recycled plastic and natural materials such as cork.

The roof rack can "carry" all types of cargo, as the brackets can be changed into different configurations. Dacia has already risen above the rest with the innovative Sandero Stepway and Jogger modular roof racks, which will soon be available in the Duster. This multifunctionality is highly desirable.

The Dacia MANIFESTO concept is just a concept. Moreover, it will inspire the company's future models with its technology and capabilities. The car will be presented at the Paris Motor Show in October.
