We will be able to hear about why it is good to connect companies and designers at the one-day educational and experiential event Design Biotop.
The event promotes the extremely (eternal) current topic of connecting business and design practices. This time, the case will be in the foreground Finnish integration of design into education, economy and decision-making policies. They will host important Finnish guests such as Marco Steinberg, Kalevi Ekman, Lauri Repokari, Heikki Rajasalo and Juuso Koponen.
Before the very beginning, it will happen in the morning Designer breakfast, which was realized for the first time in Helsinki in 2012 as part of the World Design Capital. It is the idea of Finnish designer Marion Robinson, who missed an open and informal platform for sharing knowledge and experience in her environment. The designer breakfast is a joint informal breakfast/get-together of visiting artists, designers and all creatives. In the Šiška Cinema, this time the Design Breakfast will introduce Finnish illustrators to the Slovenian scene.
