FOR THE THIRST OF THE DEVILIn addition to the largest Slovenian breweries, beer lovers in Celje are also well-known for the Diavolo brewery and pub on Mariborska cesta, near large shopping centers. Diavolo offers unfiltered and unpasteurized beer of its own production. Light beer contains approximately 4.5 percent alcohol, and dark beer contains five percent alcohol. The bright pub atmosphere is enhanced by wooden furniture and other natural materials that create an authentic pub atmosphere, as well as glass floors through which we can observe large barrels. A large copper barrel, which is already a fixture in every brewery and pub, naturally also adorns this corner of Celje. At Diavolo, the refreshing bitter liquid is also served in the size of a "superca", i.e. one liter, and a "giraffe", a popular tabletop device for dispensing beer that holds three liters, from which guests can pour themselves. If you visit Diavolo, you can also take a surprise with you for friends or family — a nice two-liter bottle of Diavolo beer. And what do they recommend with beer? The house-made Diavolo pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven, or one of the thirty types of pizza, beer cheese, pasta or grilled dishes - full stomachs are definitely catered for. For those who can't take the time to visit the pub or are hosting a home party, they also deliver the delicacies to your home.
