Sharpen your knives, the Dexter series is back in 2021!
Granted, 2020 is most likely the worst year ever, but apparently not for Dexter fans. This one is returning - Michael C. Hall is said to remain in the title role, and Clyde Philips is also expected to take care of the screenplay again.
Showtime TV Network announced ten episodes, production is expected to begin in early 2021, and fans will be waiting for the premiereand in autumn next year. And the story? For now, this is still shrouded in mystery. The drama promises to happen ten revenge killings, so it looks like Dexter's secret life didn't exactly go as planned.
Surprise Motherfucker.

"Dexter is a special series, both for millions of fans around the world and for Showtime, as this groundbreaking series helped put our network on the global map," he said Gary Levine, co-president of entertainment programming for Showtime. “We could only bring this unique character to life if we could find creative that was truly worthy of this brilliant series. Well, I'm happy to say that Clyde Phillips and Michael C. Hall have succeeded, so we can't wait to film the series and show it to the world.”
We couldn't have said it better ourselves - let's remember, the series about our favorite killer killer didn't exactly end on a high note, but fans were disappointed. That's why we're all the more excited to see Dexter again in 2021.
Michael C. Hall played the titular hero for all eight seasons, while Clyde only participated in the first four seasons, which were, hands down, the best. So we expect the same energy from the next ten episodes. Along with Hall and Phillips, they are expected to return to the small screen in Dexter 2021 John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Bill Carraro and Scott Reynolds.
