Cinderella wore glass shoes that fateful evening, but this summer's fairy shoes are much better and more comfortable than those. Getting your pair will be very difficult!
Disney has once again joined forces with another major company, that is Toms, and created fairy shoes with motifs from the most famous fairy tales from our childhood and childhood of many a child even today.
The collection is not just about entertainment, rather it has charity concept. Toms is a shoe brand known for its rules One for One, which means that for every pair of shoes sold the company donates a pair to a child in need. Since 2006, they have provided children with more than 60 million feet in 70 countries worldwide. This campaign is so popular that they have extended their offer to sunglasses (they ensure the allocation of prescription glasses), coffee (drinking water supply) and bags (providing resources for safe birth practices).
Besides charity and fairytale concept there is another interesting story behind this project, connected with artistic paintings on shoes. In a press release, they said that the shoe series contains exclusive, never-before-seen, hand-drawn murals, which they are created by women in Disney's Ink and Paint department in the middle of the last century.
The shoe collection will be released in three parts: if you are fans Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, you can already order your pair, the one you love Snow White, but you will have to wait until August 23rd.
The collection is made for women, children and babies, and in addition to shoes, they can also be bought sunglasses, which are stored in a special Disney x TOMS eyeglass storage boxes.
The price women's pairs of shoes varies between 65 and 75 US dollars (converted to 74.23-85.64 euros), the price of sunglasses and 170-190 US dollars (converted to 194.13-216.97 euros).
