Don't let others suppress your feelings and emotions!

Remember - you don't need other people's permission to feel, feel and live your life.

Life is yours and let your mistakes be your mistakes. Do not allow others to create your life, your emotions, your feelings. Allow yourself to be who you are.

Allow yourself to make mistakes, only you are responsible for them. Love even if they don't love you back. Have a kilo too much because you feel good with it, don't look at others!

Especially to those who they tell you you are crazy and ignore your voice.

You shouldn't feel bad when someone accuses you of overreacting because it says more about them than it does about you. It means they don't care what you have to say. This means they cannot show empathy for your situation. This means they are distracted by your emotions and pretend they don't exist. Instead of taking the time to talk to you about them.

When someone ignores your feelings, it's a reflection of their bad behavior, not yours.

You don't need others' permission to feel the way you do

You can be upset or angry or frustrated, regardless of what the people around you think about it. You are allowed to feel whatever you feel. You shouldn't let someone tell you that you shouldn't be upset because it bothers them or that you shouldn't be proud of yourself because others have done something better or differently.

Your feelings are valid. Your feelings count. No one should give you permission to feel the way you do. Avoid such people.

Other people's opinions don't matter

While it's always nice to have someone on your side to comfort you when you're down, you need to remember that it's okay if other people don't understand you. It's okay if they have a different view of the world than you. And it's also okay to distance yourself from them.

There's nothing wrong with deciding that you only want to surround yourself with people who will take your feelings seriously and distance yourself from people who make you feel bad. They can live life their way - and you can live yours.

Don't hide your feelings to make others feel better

You shouldn't feel pressured to pretend you're fine when you're falling apart inside. You shouldn't take on someone else's feelings because you're worried about how they'll react when they find out about your feelings. You have a right to say how you feel. You are allowed to speak your truth.

Don't let a toxic person turn you into a cynic

Just because one person hurt you and didn't respect your feelings doesn't mean everyone else will too. Don't assume that everyone will behave the way the toxic people in your life have behaved. Don't assume vulnerability is a bad thing when it's a wonderful thing.

Real people will want you to express your feelings, even when it makes them uncomfortable

You shouldn't feel pressured to keep your problems to yourself. You shouldn't feel like you can't speak your mind. When you find the right person, the person who will understand you, you will be able to reveal and open your heart to them. And they will still be there. They will not leave you.

You will learn that there is nothing wrong with having strong emotions and being vulnerable. You will realize that this is actually your strength.
