Volkswagen has announced the immediate start of sales of the electric version of its flagship - the Golf. Only this one is on sale in Germany from 34,900 euros. Due to the various tax benefits, the possibility of favorable low-interest eco-financing (subsidies) and low maintenance costs, the Volkswagen experiment will be extremely interesting.
Electric golf drives 115 electrified horses, which develop 270 Nm torque and vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h they sprout in bad ones 10 seconds. Depending on the driving style, the user can expect from 130 extremely modest, to already satisfactory 190 kilometers of range. Which is certainly sufficient for everyday needs. For escapes to the sea or weekend trips, however, batteries can lack electricity. It offers a warranty for the car up to 160.000 kilometers driven, respectively 8 years. Which is a lot for the German manufacturer and speaks in favor of the maintenance costs of electric vehicles.

It seems that electric vehicles are increasingly becoming part of the lifestyle of urban individuals. Volkswagen the move to prepare this type of electrically driven vehicle clearly outlines the future of the auto industry, which also seems to be clearly written for electricity.
