The electric SUV Polestar 4 is the ultimate fusion of power, style and durability

The Polestar 4 electric SUV is in the spotlight as the brand's fastest production model to date, boasting 544 horsepower, a range of 300 miles (483 km) and a host of innovative technical and design features.

Polestar, the electric car manufacturer famous for its stylish and sustainable vehicles, has just unveiled its latest masterpiece: Polestar 4 Electric SUV. This futuristic crossover is expected to become the brand's fastest production model to date, with up to 544 horsepower (406 kW) and a range of 300 miles (483 km). The Polestar 4 draws inspiration from the Precept concept car and combines high-performance, cutting-edge technology and environmentally friendly design.

The Polestar 4 will be available in two configurations, a single-engine version with 272 horsepower (203 kW) and a twin-engine version with stunning 544 horsepower (406 kW) and 506 pound-feet of torque (685Nm). The top-of-the-line dual-motor model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds, leaving even the Polestar 1 in a cloud of dust.

Both versions of the Polestar 4 will be equipped with battery s 102.0 kWh, which will provide a range of more than 300 miles (483 km) based on US EPA test procedure. The battery also supports fast charging with capabilities 200 kW DC and 22 kW AC. 22 kWh will be great for home charging. In addition, the Polestar 4 has a heat pump as standard equipment, which is commendable in this price range.

The elegant design of the Polestar 4 includes low aerodynamic nose, foldable door handles, frameless windows and a glass roof that extends above the rear seat passengers. Instead of a rear window, the vehicle has a reversing camera that feeds into the rearview mirror, ensuring a seamless driving experience.

At Polestar 4 safety comes first, as it is equipped with nine airbags, 12 cameras, one radar system and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Drivers can access important information via a 10.2-inch display in front of the steering column or an optional 14.7-inch head-up display that reduces distractions.

It's inside Polestar 4 equipped with 15.4-inch infotainment screen, which drives Android Automotive OS, which includes Google Maps, Google Assistant and the Google Play Store. It is also supported Apple CarPlay, and buyers can upgrade to a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system or a 16-speaker Nappa Pack with massaging seats and Nappa leather upholstery.

Polestar 4 should start production in China in November this year with a starting price of around 60,000 $ (around €54,000, based on current exchange rates). The model will first be presented in China, and in 2024 more precise details will follow for European and North American market.
