Um, how to explain that? First of all, we can ask ourselves, why would you even shine with a piece of paper? And the (legitimate) answer can be, why not? And it's true, why not. Well, it may also be for environmental reasons, since we use quite a lot of electronic material for lamps and batteries. So let's see what story Nendo, the paper lamp, tells.
At the Japanese Nendo they used technology AgIC or the electronic circuit with which they are cover paper on both sides.
They did it in a fun way because it's paper to see like a chessboard. The paper they used is called YUPO and they otherwise use it for ballots in elections. On this paper, the ink is evenly distributed and absorbed. Because of its smooth base and water resistance it is therefore ideal for industrial use. Nendo works like this roll up the paper and turn on 7 LED lights. The more you twist it, the brighter Nendo will shine. You can also choose between two light temperatures, namely orange or white, depending on which direction you will roll the paper. If you put the roll in the stand, you can also use it as a table or ceiling lamp.
Why not, right?
