It's all good for something: procrastinators are more successful

You can also find something good in being late - science says that you are a more successful person.

We all have that friend or acquaintance who is always late - it's just in their nature. For some individuals, time management is simple and does not require a lot of energy, while for others it causes great problems. Inaccuracy is indeed undesirable in modern cultures, but it can also indicate some positive qualities. Let's say: people who are late are more successful!

Although people who are always late are often chastised for this trait, not everything is so black and white.

The link between tardiness and performance was shown by a study in which individuals were divided into two groups. They were placed in group A impatient and competitive individuals, and in group B relaxed and creative individuals.

The research showed that the average perception of the passage of time differed between the groups. The individuals in group B estimated that more time had passed than the individuals in group B. From this we can conclude that the inaccuracy is not exactly the fault of the one who is late, but the cause may lie in a different perception of the passage of time.

Other studies have shown that procrastination as a trait is strongly associated with optimism. If you are more inclined to be late, so be it greater possibility, that you have an optimistic nature, giving you a fair edge over the pessimists in today's world.
