Goodbye Bugatti Veyron – Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale as the last of its kind

The last Bugatti Veyron - Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale

The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale is the last, the 450th example of its kind, as it retires the Veyron. This closes a special chapter in the history of motoring, which began 10 years ago and in which the Bugatti Veyron was synonymous with prestige, technical perfection, and for a long time even Usain Bolt was among the super sports cars, i.e. the fastest in the world. The last example, which is on display at the Geneva Motor Show and is a mirror image of the first model, the Veyron EB 16.4, thus concludes its life cycle.

Although Bugatti Veyron with model Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale is sending him to retirement, but his place, the place of one of the best supercars, will not be vacant for long, as the manufacturer from Molsheim is already preparing his successor, Chiron. The Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale will not go into the museum collection, however, as it already has a buyer from the Middle East. But before it goes to its owner, let's take a look at the characteristics of this last descendant of the Veyron dynasty.

The final version has exactly the same mechanical "DNA" as the other Grand Sport Vitesse models, that is 8.0 liter W16 engine with four turbochargers with incredible 1184 horses (882 kW) and 1500 Nm of torque. No wonder, then, that the "pointer on the counter" has such a long path from left to right, since its final speed is 410 km/h. But it doesn't make much progress, because it needs everything from 0 to 100 km/h 2.6 seconds.

Therefore, if technically it does not differ from the others, then it wears a unique one La Finale signature and one day it will be an expensive collector's item for this reason, which will be more than any other of them 300 Veyrons in coupes and 149 in roadster version (sold at average price 2.3 million euros), handed out tin trophies to eager "autosmatics".

Otherwise, La Finale is the same color as the original, as it adorns it black/burgundy red shell, with two-tone rims, and inside the black is replaced by beige. The leather of the seats is also silky beige, and there is a flourish in the middle between the rear seats Bugatti's elephant, which stands proudly above the label 450/450.
