Fjällräven presents some new models of winter jackets, for which they drew inspiration from their rich expedition history.
In the early 70s of the last century is the founder Fjällräven, Åke Nordin, spent a cold and sleepless night camping in the Swedish mountains, which prompted him to design a jacket in which no one got cold. This eventually led to the company's jacket, which changed the landscape of such products and has been a classic for years 1974. Some 46 years later, the Swedish clothing brand unveils a new range of lightweight winter jackets inspired by the features of the original jacket Fjallraven Expedition.
Modern jacket interpretation, named the 1974 Expedition Series, consists of four new models: the jacket Expedition Long Down, a jacket Expedition Pack Down, sweater Expedition Latt and a jacket Expedition Pack. Each of these four models is guided by the same principles as their predecessor and inspiration from 1974. They are extremely light and extremely warm, with shells and linings made of 100% recycled polyamide, and are filled with high-quality ethically sourced goose down. The Parka and Pack Down jackets also boast adjustable hoods, decorated with white leather and yellow cords at the hood – eye-catching and at the same time nod to the original Fjällräven jacket design. Price for jackets Fjällräven 1974 The Expedition Series starts at 200 euros for Expedition Latt Hoodie and reach 600 euros for Expedition Long Down Park.
