We are used to picture frames having four sides or being round. That the frame is trimmed or simple. Well, the Fusion Frames series is something else entirely. These are artificial frames from which branches "grow" and which are works of art in themselves, which do not need pictures to make sense of them.

Usually I take picture frames as an accessory, an element that complements the picture aesthetically, so we don't think of them as independent works of art, although sometimes unjustifiably, since many frames are made in such detail that they would need a frame themselves. Fusion Frames go one step further.
Fusion Frames are colorful a series of handmade frames, which are to a certain extent like classic frames, but they are not closed into a circle or a quadrangle, but branches grow out of them (author Darryl Cox he adds to them carefully selected fallen parts of trees). Hours of carving, painting and carving have gone into them. They are unique frames over the counter, but you will also have to pay for them several thousand euros.
