Google Daydream View - a pillow-like virtual reality headset

In addition to the Google Pixel smartphone, Google also introduced the Google Daydream View mobile virtual reality headset to support Daydream VR, which is a big step forward compared to the Cardboard VR glasses with which Google plowed the VR field. Unlike other headsets, this one is as soft as a pillow and does not require a powerful computer to use.

Google Cardboard – VR-platform in the form of a cardboard smartphone holder – replaced by a much more comfortable one virtual reality set Google Daydream View. If it's a smartphone Google Pixel answer to iPhone 7, the Daydream View is Samsung's answer to the virtual reality headset Gear VR.

The Daydream View head mask is made made of fabric, and it is also attached to it wireless controller, which is a hybrid of the TV remote and the Wii Remote, and will further enhance the user experience when using apps such as Google Photos, Street View and YouTube. Any smartphone that supports Daydream VR is inserted into it, and it automatically connects to the system via NFC connections. Daydream View is approx. 30 percent lighter than competing sets, and the 220 milliampere battery provides 12 hours of autonomy. It will cost 70 euros and will be available in November 2016.
