The Emotional Clutter Guide: 3 Essential Steps to Personal Growth

Put away emotions, feelings, assumptions. Remove unnecessary things that push you into bad decisions.

You cannot be perfect, no matter how hard you try to improve your qualities and build the ones you lack.

Don't start from the assumption that there is something wrong with you and that you are not good enough. From this point you can go from internal to external conflict, as you will be constantly in conflict, with yourself and everyone around you.

If you constantly strive to build the mental stability to be brave, strong, confident and a magnet for the opposite sex, you will probably end up being an emotionally damaged person sooner or later.

You cannot avoid and ignore the importance of emotions. You may function well in chaos and disorder, but emotional chaos is something else entirely. There you hear nothing but buzzing and feel nothing but stings, fear and pain.

If you try to become invulnerable, it's like being in armor all the time, even when you sleep. You can't relax with your armor on, so you can't grow and develop your abilities if you avoid feelings.

You cannot grow without emotional clutter. No chaos and no control.

What can you do?

Accept yourself

Accept yourself and your thoughts and feelings, this is the first step of personal growth. When you accept who you are, recognize your weaknesses and shortcomings, you will be able to appreciate your value as an asset. And you will be able to strengthen your weaknesses or even transform them into strengths from which to draw wisdom.

Stop denying and dismissing the emotions that bother you. Stop running from your fears. Face the feeling of guilt and try to understand that this is not the whole truth.

The feeling of emptiness comes from the need for comfort, security, validation, and no amount of emotional intensity will cover it. No one will comfort you and give you what you need. You decide for yourself what you want for your life.

Be organized

Like a big clean out - divide your emotions, environment and thoughts into two piles. One should have what you want to keep and the other what you need to get rid of. When you see what you need and what you don't need, you will see what is draining your energy.

Keep everything that strengthens and uplifts you and throw away everything that hurts and hurts you. The hardest thing is realizing that you don't want to throw away some unnecessary and burdensome things (behavior patterns, people, reactions, habits) because you are attached to them, even though they drain you and push you to the bottom.

Gather the courage to let go of what you don't need, no matter how accustomed or attached you are to it. For every small movement, you will get a feeling of lightness and freedom.

Don't fight everything

Let your inner guard down. Take life's knocks. Fall down. Let go of your pride, it's incredibly heavy baggage. Instead of fighting, choose value, freedom, new experiences...

Every fight is basically a fight with yourself. You don't want to fight yourself! You better grow!
