Are you ready for a new twist on the classic way of applying eye makeup? Here is the "halo eye", a make-up trend that has already conquered girls all over the world and driven Instagram crazy.

There's no denying that the smokey eye has already earned legendary status and will always be among our favorite looks. However, this technique of applying eye shadows has recently fallen into the background. The latest eye shadow application technique has come to the fore "halo eye", which is perfect for achieving open and shining eyes. This is precisely why make-up artists and celebrities love it so much, because it emphasizes the eyes in a special way, and it looks flawless in photos.

With the "halo eye" trend, you will look fresh and awake

With a “halo eye” look, light is directed and reflected from the middle of the lid, upper and lower, thanks to the lighter and shimmery shades of the eyeshadow applied to the center. Contrast is achieved with darker shades of eyeshadow on the inner and outer sides of each lid, giving the illusion of larger, brighter eyes. To get this look right, divide the eyelids into three parts - the inner corner, the middle and the outer corner. The goal is to achieve an almond shape on each side of the lid, but instead of going from a light to a darker shade of eyeshadow, start with a dark shade, apply a lighter shade to the center of the lid, and then finish with a dark shade again. Repeat the same process along the lower lash line.

The beauty of this trend is that you can play with the colors. To enhance the look of sparkling eyes, choose for the center of the lid metallic, shiny or glittery shades. The possibilities are endless, from the combination of blue and black to the combination of warm red and gold. There are also bronze color shades that are raised to a higher level with chrome formulas, and the whole thing is spiced up, for example, with indigo blue on the outer corners of the eyes. That look can be worn in day and evening versions, as you can combine absolutely all eye shadow shades - from the softest to the most intense. Simply add a little shimmer to the center of the lid and that's it. To complete the look, apply pencil or eyeliner in a thin line along the lashes and finish with your favorite mascara.
