Homemade bath for dreamy feet: homemade pedicure with baking soda and milk

How to make a homemade bath that will ensure dreamy soft feet? Here is a great suggestion for a homemade pedicure, the effect of which you should see immediately. The combination of milk and baking soda works because the ingredients complement each other perfectly. Milk contains lactic acid, which is said to soften the skin, and baking soda has abrasive properties, meaning it can remove dry, rough skin as it softens.

If you've neglected your feet a bit this winter, there's a good chance it's the skin dry, rough and hard, which of course does not look the best. And since you can't make an appointment with a pedicurist at the moment, we have a recipe for a homemade pedicure for you, where you'll need lavender, milk and baking soda. The result will be beautiful and soft feet!

Homemade bath ingredients for dreamy soft feet

  • 2 to 4 cups of milk
  • handful of baking soda
  • a large basin, i.e. large enough that you can put both feet in it at once

How do you make a homemade foot bath?

Heat the milk, but be careful not to make it too hot. Add milk as needed - 2 or 4 cups - depending on how big your pelvis is and how big your feet are. Then pour the milk into a bowl where you can put both feet at once. Soak them in milk for 5 minutes. Then slowly sprinkle the bath with baking soda. Mix it in with the help of your feet. Soak the skin especially well on those parts where it is hard and thick. Massage these areas with the help of a bath and don't worry about helping yourself with this with your hands. Don't forget to soak the upper part of your feet and joints as well - if they are not in the bath, massage them with it. This is the part of the foot that is most noticeable when wearing sandals or flip flops. After massaging your feet, soak them for a while. When you're done, wash your feet in warm water and dry them.
