Huawei did not give up because of the US bullying and proudly showed off its new best phones, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, which this time come with a slightly different version of the Android system than we are used to. But let's go in order.
Let's see what Huawei has prepared this time!
Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 smartphones
To the model Mate 30 Pro are on the screen a bit thinned the edges, that's why it is OLED dot screen bigger from the predecessor, but surprisingly lower resolutions. The user will probably not notice the lack of sharpness, but the decision undoubtedly serves to ensure it longer battery life. Also normal Mate 30 he got larger OLED screen, and also higher resolution. Interesting. At the top of the screen in the "notch" there are sensors for 3D Face Unlock, for hand gesture recognition and selfie camera with 32MP on the Mate 30 Pro and a selfie camera with 24MP on the Mate 30.
With the Mate 30 Pro, they decided to completely wrap the edges of the screen at the sides 88 degrees, which is significantly more than they do at Samsung. Such screens do look very nice, but they tend to detect unwanted touches. Similarly questionable is the decision on removing the physical volume buttons. To turn down the volume, the user will need to tap on the top left edge of the phone and with a finger to slip down (or up). Anyone who already has volume controls on their headphones will not feel the difference. But those who rely on touch and change the volume right from the pocket will now have more work to do.
Most of the innovations can be seen on the back of the phone. Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will adorn four sensors, 3 cameras and an additional sensor for depth measurement. Main camera will retain the resolution sensor 40MP, which is supposed to catch just 137% more light like the one in the iPhone 11 Pro. It will be here telephoto camera with 8 MP and with 3x optical zoom and ultra wide camera with 40MP. The latter opened the aperture from f/2.2 to f/1.6, which means they will night photos brighter. Whether sharpness will suffer as a result remains to be seen. The Mate 30 has the same camera specs, except for the ultra-wide, which remains at 16MP and more closed apertures.
But the main camera will be able to handle a few others interesting tricks. Video recording with blurred background, 4K at 60 frames per second, 4K HDR timelapse and most surprisingly: slow motion at 7,680 frames per second and 720p resolution! The video should also be brighter than the competition in dark situations.
But as mentioned at the beginning, it brings the most worries new operating system, which is otherwise based on open source Android, but this one does not have integrated Google support. So none Google Stores, preloaded applications such as Gmail, Drive, Chrome etc. Huawei does offer own shop, where many other substitutes can be found, but the mentioned applications and services have become a big part of our everyday life. How seamless the transition to Huawei will be Harmony OS, it remains to be seen. As long as it will be possible to download Google applications on the phone subsequently, that will be great.
The price is also great (read: high). Huawei in its beginnings, it aimed for a lower price and excellent specifications, but now, when it can compete with the elite in peace, it also places its prices alongside the competition. Mate 30 Pro with 8 GB of working memory and 256 GB of memory will stand 1,099 euros, Mate 30 with 6 GB working memory and 128 GB of memory well 799 eurosin But those who have a little more under their thumb can come up with a version for the Mate 30 Pro Porsche Design with 12 GB working memory and 512 GB of memory. This one will stood 2,095 euros.

The clock is powered by the house operating system LiteOS and should last up to 2 weeks. It will be possible to get it in two sizes, 46 mm and 42 mm. Both boast OLED screens, which can remain if desired always on ("always on display"). GT 2 now has it built in as well microphone for making calls just over the clock, because of the connection Bluetooth 5.1 but the watch can be quite far from the phone 150 meters.
A sports-oriented watch will naturally support tracking 15 different exercises, had built in GPS and offered space for 500 tracks. Huawei Watch GT 2 will be on sale in October, 46 mm version will stand 249 euros, 42 mm version 229 euros.
