Introducing the HWA EVO – a limited edition that will bring the iconic Mercedes back to life and bring it into the modern era.
When the name Hans Werner Aufrecht is mentioned, many car enthusiasts know that big things are about to happen. As one of the founders of AMG, Aufrecht's company HWA is now embarking on a project – the HWA Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II – that will mark the automotive industry. The Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II, an icon of motor racing, will be reborn under the name HWA EVO. With a price 714,000 euros (around $786,000) this restomod will definitely be something elite.

Its design remains faithful to the original, with even more pronounced fenders, a massive rear spoiler and a modern interpretation of the legendary six-spoke wheels. Design changes include a black front grille, the removal of the Mercedes triangle emblem on the hood, a new front bumper and LED headlights.
The result is called the HWA Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II and is a modern tribute to one of the most famous DTM racing cars of all time, the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II. The Evo II, of which only 500 were built for homologation purposes, was a stylistic icon of the early 1990s and set standards in design and performance. With it, Klaus Ludwig won his first DTM title with Mercedes-Benz in 1992.
