Pivovarna Union, in cooperation with the Pristop agency and the digital agency Renderspace, will launch a mobile application in the coming year that will promote hanging out with friends without using a phone. Looking around cafes, bars, even fitness centers, more than half of the people are on their mobile phones.
Instead of using the time with friends to chat, have fun, plan joint escapes to nature, they prefer to dedicate this time to their best friend, which shouldn't be - the mobile phone.
It will be for this purpose Union Brewery soon launched a mobile application RE: UNION. But this one will be completely different from other applications, as it will reward users for not using their phone while hanging out with friends. When two friends in Pivnica connect and decide it's time to RE: UNION, they will place their phones on the table with the screen facing down. The application will start counting down 30 minutes, during which the user is not allowed to use the phone. If they succeed, they will both be rewarded with a coupon for a free beer, which they can redeem immediately to continue their socializing or save it for the next RE:UNION.
