LET YOURSELF BE PAMPERED Gostilna Pec in Selnica near Maribor has been opening its doors wide for a century. Along the river embankment, rafters from Drava used to stop long ago, but today excellent cuisine and hospitality invite you to the silence of the green shelter of the Drava. The tastefully decorated interiors of the inn match the idyllic nature and offer hospitality to businessmen, small closed parties or larger parties celebrating family celebrations. The inn can boast of the quality of service, which is reflected in the friendliness, knowledge of the ingredients of the ordered dishes and the types of wine offered to you by the waiters - sommeliers. They are proud of their seasonal offer, which they adapt to major holidays. They easily adapt to the guests' wishes, but a greater challenge is posed by guests who completely surrender to them. Especially businessmen are more demanding, there are many foreign guests, and family celebrations are increasingly moving away from "fried classics". We tried out a special September offer for you: to welcome us, we were served with homemade liver pate on homemade wholemeal bread, then it was time for a cold appetizer: chanterelles in a salad on a green base, followed by pumpkin cream soup; for a warm starter, there was ski fillet in a potato dressing with home-made spinach and a buttery wine sauce, and for the main course, a rack of lamb with pepper sauce and milk polenta. And for dessert – chocolate dreams. Dreamy!
