Is this a Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone? 2016 got off to a dream start for Samsung. The Galaxy S7 outsold the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 came along and stunned everyone until it all turned into a nightmare for Samsung. Ever since Samsung had to bury probably the best smartphone in the world due to spontaneous combustion, it has been working on the Galaxy S8 model with which the Koreans want to return to their old glory.

Chinese social network Weibo has posted what it claims is a photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. The 'runaway' photo confirms quite a few rumors that have been spreading lately like a bet.

Among other things, the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is supposed to get rid of it physical 'home' button (the fingerprint reader is supposed to be built right into the screen itself) and the freed space was given up to a 4K screen. It should be almost without edges and no 3.5mm headphone jack (I was supposed to replace it USB-C).

Whether the rumors are true is unknown, and Samsung is not expected to unveil its next flagship at Mobile World Congress Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (February 27-March 2, 2017) as is our tradition, but at a private event April 18, 2017 in New York.
