When connoisseurs talk about electric cars, the common belief is that at this moment Jaguar is the one that has stuck Tesla's butt and is setting a kind of standard in the field of electric cars. Thus, the i-Pace model is proof that the "old" automotive industry can do at least as well or even better than the "geeks" from Silicon Valley.
It is for this year Jaguar made some minor updates to his model i-Pace, which was just last year world car of the year. So this time it's a massive set of technological updates. The rest remains practically untouched. The 90 kWh battery is capable of a range of up to 462 kilometers, and the two electric motors put 394 horses on the road. So much for the dryness around the technical numbers.
The electrified model now boasts cabin air ionization, filtration PM2.5 particle-free and thus “corona-safe”, it has an upgraded entertainment system that features a built-in SIM card with 4G portability, wireless charging and a Meridian sound system that uses as many as 16 different speakers and offers one of the most engaging listening experiences on the market.
The iPace is really interesting. And it's only fitting that the company improves it a little every year. With this, Jaguar came closer to the philosophy of Tesla, which constantly improves its vehicles.
