Jazzinity is an international music workshop and festival. It is an environment that cultivates, encourages, educates, rewards, connects and raises awareness in the field of jazz and related practices.
Jazzinity is the largest international festival in the Southeast region, which creates international connections, original author projects and encourages the potential of young musicians. Jazzinity workshop is a one-week music education, academy open to anyone interested in improvisation and jazz. Up to 80 participants from all over the world attend the workshop every year.
Music workshopsThe festival program consists of presentations of new Slovenian jazz projects, a concert by workshop mentors and special guests. Jazzinity brings evening concerts and a festival atmosphere to city streets and squares.
Dre Hočevar, Robert Jukič, Andy Middleton and others will perform.This year, the festival opens symbolically with a photography exhibition "Jazzlumination 2000-2013" and a performance by the Novo Mesto jazz band, which formed at last year's festival.
