JIVR Bike is an urban electric bicycle that is chainless, foldable and enables the so-called iBeacon technology based on Bluetooth. JIVR Bike thus provides all the advantages of cycling without having to make compromises with lifestyle. JIVR Bike is currently raising funds on Kickstarter.
JIVR Ox includes elements of the latest technology. Instead of a chain, the wheel is driven by a specially developed power transmission - this is hidden in the frame of the bike and can be used whenever normal wheel drive is desired. The JIVR Bike is powered by an electric motor that successfully transports with one 90-minute charge 30 kilometers, but reaches speed up to 32 kilometers per hour. When we arrive at the desired location, the bike is easy fold in four steps and clean up. It weighs less than 15 kilograms.
JIVR Bike is next to it iBeacon technology, powered by Kontak.io, detects all smart devices (including the new Apple Watch), compatible with with a smartphone. We can plug this into the steering wheel, see how much kilometers we drove, how much calories spent, but we can also use GPS and help each other through the city.
JIVR Bike is currently fundraising on Kickstarter. The retail price of the bike is around 2072 euros.
