One of the most high-profile collaborations is with the German company Leica, which already signed the fourth generation of cameras on Huawei phones: Huawei P9, Huawei P10, Mate 9 and the most recent Mate 10 Pro.

Huawei is in collaboration with Leica designed a dual camera for Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. The camera combines 12MP large color (RGB) ter 20MP a large monochrome (B&W) sensor, optical stabilization (OIS), the world's widest aperture at f/1.6, and artificial intelligence-based bokeh (blurred background) and digital zoom. The new real-time recognition of the scene and objects is based on artificial intelligence and enables automatic selection of camera settings, which with the help of advanced zoom and motion detection with artificial intelligence brings cleaner portraits and sharper objects in the photo.
