The Slovenian project Koto started its campaign on the crowdfunding portal Indiegogo a few days ago. It is an upgrade of the existing CubeSensors smart sensors, and they took the new name because they want to expand their product line and at the same time they don't want to limit themselves to the cube shape. Koto is the old Finnish word for home, and it seems that you couldn't think of a more appropriate name for the sensors that take care of a healthy home.
Behind the project Angle there is an experienced team that built on a very successful project CubeSensors. These are devices that are intended for improvements in living conditions in housing, workplaces or other closed spaces, in which we are forced to spend several hours a day. Small cubes filled with sensors, measure different parameters in a closed space, they analyze environment and user they warn via the application, when something is wrong, and at the same time the application offers a recommendation on how to "improve" the situation.
The Koto family consists of Like Blink (basic type of sensor that monitors temperature, humidity, light and noise), As Air (an upgraded version of the Koto Blink that detects dust and harmful gases) and As Storm (contains a small screen that shows the current temperature and notifies us of a newly received email or an upcoming storm).

The Slovenian project Koto wants to raise money on the crowdfunding portal 50 thousand US dollars, and for now it seems that the path to the goal will be easy (in the first three hours, he collected ten thousand dollars and thus already reached twenty percent of the set goal). Investors can expect the first shipments February 2016.
