2023 brings the third generation of the Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The latest generation brings a new exterior and interior look, and most of the technology was seen in the fifth generation of the Range Rover model.
Exterior design of the latest generation Land Rover Range Rover Sport takes its inspiration from the prestigious Range Rover model. They have in common door handles that "sink" into the door and clean design lines. But this is where the similarity ends, as the third generation has its own rear end, and the front part features the thinnest daytime running lights we've ever seen on a Land Rover car.
The Range Rover Sport uses the same MLA platform as the Range Rover. This means that the Sport model also has 7.3-degree four-wheel cornering and dynamic air suspension, which is already part of the basic equipment of the Sport model. The Range Rover Sport is available with two mild-hybrid 3.0-liter gasoline engines, which have 264 kW (359 HP, 500 Nm) respectively 294 kW (400 HP, 550 Nm) of power. It is also available plug-in hybrid, combined with 3.0 liter gasoline engines that have 323 kW (439 hp) of power and 839 newton meters of torque. With full battery, with capacity 31.8 kWh and an electric motor with 105 kW power, it will be possible to drive up to 77 kilometers long way, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h but it only amounts to 5.5 seconds.
Land Rover Range Rover Sport; Photo: media.landrover.comThe most powerful version is powered by the P530 First Edition 4.4 liter V8 petrol engine, which has 390 kW (530 hp) and 750 newton meters of torque. When accelerating, it is even faster than the plug-in hybrid and only needs up to 100 km/h 4.3 seconds. All engines are mated to an automatic 8-speed gearbox and four-wheel drive. A fully electric version of the Sport model will be available in the year 2024.

The most noticeable difference is in the placement of the central one 13.1-inch high-resolution screen that boasts the latest Land Rover Pivi Pro software. The driver is available 13.7-inch interactive screen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, which are already part of the standard equipment, ensure safer driving. Wireless charging of smart devices with power is also available 15 W. The Sport model can update its own via an Internet connection 63 electrical modules, and also boasts an extraordinary Meridian Signature Sound sound system, which consists of just 29 speakers.

The Range Rover Sport is already available for order, but the date of the first releases of the cars to buyers is not yet known.
